“Children while being sold into trafficking are molested, physically, sexually, abused by their
employers and in some cases resold” (Furphy).
Sex trafficking is
nothing less than slavery. When an offender takes a girl or boy against their
will and forces them to engage in prostitution, that offender has stolen his or
her freedom and dignity. A number of children get trafficked both for sex and
for other labor purposes within the country and across borders. I feel so bad
for these kids. I thought with picking this quote that this would be a good way
to get peoples attention and say listen this is what is happening to kids in
Africa and all over the world. We need to start doing something to protect these
kids form these horrible traffickers that take advantage of them.
