Summary:
In the article “Child
Trafficking in Eastern Europe: A Trade in Human Misery" by Richard Tyler
writes about how everywhere around the world there is child trafficking. He
explains how families in Italy use their sons and daughters for sex. He also
tells a story how a boy was traded for a color TV. It reports that “80 percent
of young women and girls brought to Germany by smuggling rings come from the
Eastern Europe (Tyler). Not only young women and girls there is also an
increase of young boys being introduced into the sex market.
Evaluation:
In this article it
discusses the main points that children all over the world are being sold into
the sex market. This article is for people who want to know where child
trafficking is occurring and for people who should help these kids. "Child
Trafficking in Eastern Europe: A Trade in Human Misery" by Richard Tyler
is a cultural bias because it give examples on what happens in Italy, Germany,
and many other places. It is a reputable that I had found on the web and it was
published October 25, 2003.
